• Ensuring that football activities are delivered responsibly and safely
• Responding appropriately to any safeguarding concerns

All safeguarding decisions are made with the best interests of the child as the primary consideration.

• Trained in relevant health and safety practices

These measures help ensure that children are supported by responsible adults who prioritise player wellbeing.

Safe Environment for Players

Prime Youth FC aims to maintain a positive and respectful football environment where:

• Players are treated with respect and fairness
• Bullying, discrimination or inappropriate behaviour is not tolerated
• Players are encouraged to enjoy football in a safe setting
• Parents and guardians feel confident in their child's safety

Responsibilities of Parents and Guardians

Parents and guardians play an important role in supporting safeguarding.

We ask parents to:

• Provide accurate medical and contact information for their child
• Inform coaches of any health conditions that may affect participation
• Ensure children arrive and leave training sessions safely
• Encourage respectful behaviour both on and off the pitch

Reporting Concerns

Prime Youth FC takes all safeguarding concerns seriously.

If a parent, player or member of staff has concerns about the welfare or safety of a child, this should be reported to the club immediately so appropriate action can be taken.

All concerns will be treated seriously and handled responsibly.
